20,000 hours of flying experience joins the Vocavio advisory board

Capt. Conor Keeling

We’re excited to welcome Conor Keeling to the Advisory Board at Vocavio.

In this role he will provide Vocavio management with ‘flying captain’ perspectives on pilot training and standardisation.  We also look forward to his contributions to our Crewfactors Civil Aviation blog.

Conor has 40 years of aviation experience stretching from his early career as an Aircraft Mechanic to commanding an A330 for AerLingus on Atlantic routes, with over 20,000 hours in his log book.

Alongside his flying credentials, he brings a Degree in Business Studies-Marketing from Dublin City University and most recently a Diploma in Executive Coaching, from the Irish Management Institute.  He supports new entry pilots and potential commanders in their aviation careers via his consultancy Professional Pilot Coaching,

Conor is passionate about Human Performance and brings a wealth of real-world knowledge on what makes a cockpit crew function at its best.  In the coming weeks and months, Conor will share the perspectives of a flying captain on evidence based training, operations post-covid and the role of technology, via the Crewfactors civil aviation blog.

When Conor is not flying he enjoys International Volleyball and recently cycled solo Coast2Coast in Ireland to raise funds for Oesophageal Cancer Fund.
